As much as I love the fact that I am around living beings of the same species that I belong to, there are so many things that this particular set of living beings, that I belong to, do, that make me question the
whole point of the evolution of human brain.
And then, I let my over-efficient brain function and find out things that can be done so that we can be the better human beings that we ought to be. So, here I am with all the ideas that I have come up with.
whole point of the evolution of human brain.
And then, I let my over-efficient brain function and find out things that can be done so that we can be the better human beings that we ought to be. So, here I am with all the ideas that I have come up with.
1. Be polite. You know that when you are very new to this very old world, you are taught basic manners. Those manners are taught for a reason. Small statements like 'sorry', 'thank you' and 'please' work wonders for people around you.
Also, I don't know what stops you from being courteous and giving proper answers to simple questions instead of giving roundabout answers and thinking you appear cool and clever when all you appear is dumb. There, I said it.
2. Stop presenting excuses. You know the last time you were given a deadline and you didn't do it and then, for the 120th time, you told your whoever-you-were-answerable-to that your beloved cat died and you were grieving over it? Yes, don't do that. Because, first thing, everyone already knows you are making excuses. Second thing, no one will trust you with a job which is to be done on time.
3. Try helping others as much as you can. I would never tell you to leave your job to help someone else. Also, when you see someone struggling with something you know you can help with, why not extend your hand to help?
I don't get it when something falls out of someone's hand and the other person beside him/her just stares at that thing as if it would just fly back by the power of their stare. Help them by picking that thing up. Yes. Things as small as that matters.
4. Be more of a listener. See. If you interrupt someone in the middle of whatever they were saying, you are already a very bad person in their mind. Everyone wants to be with someone who would listen to them when they speak. Everyone should have the skill of listening when someone else speaks. That simple.
5. Be on time wherever you go. I, for once, hate being late. And I find so many people being late and not minding it.
Do not tell me that a delay of 5 minutes is as good as no delay. No. People, in general, might not call you out on that, but they certainly did not like that.
6. Be optimistic. If you see the negative in everything, something is extremely wrong with you.
You didn't get something you wanted? But you learnt why you didn't get it. You experienced something. Why not feel grateful for learning something new? You had planned something but things happened differently? So what? You are somewhere you didn't think you could ever be. Why not be happy about it?
7. Appreciate the good around you. There is already a lot in the beautiful world we live in, that you can find faults with. Why not take some time and appreciate what you find good around you?
I also get it when you have to get some work done but you are too lazy and you simply pass on that work to me under the pretext that you aren't able to do it.
See. I can very well understand that you didn't even try doing it, just by the way you are explaining that job to me. You are doing just one job. Lying. And you aren't doing that one job well. Or, it is just me who is super-intelligent (duh!)? I don't know. Just stop doing that.
I don't know. Am I complaining too much nowadays? Maybe.
Alright. Those were all the things, that I could think of, that we can implement in our daily life and be a better person. Hopefully, it was relatable. Hopefully, it was helpful. Let me know more about what you think in the comment section below.

Liked someone's performance in a theatre act? Tell them. Liked someone who helped you out when you needed it? Tell them. Someone did something that made you happy? Tell them.8. Do not ask for help when you just want to get things done even when you could have done that yourself. Confused? I can explain. I get it when you genuinely are stuck somewhere and you think I am one of those who can bring you out of your trouble. I would be happy to help.
