Since the evolution of my brain, which didn't start off really long time back, there are so many things that I find make no sense.
As I was thinking and experiencing some of them, I thought I might as well write about it. Let's see how many of you readers can relate to me on my thoughts.

Have you ever thought why the world is the way it is? Or why we are the way we are? Or why we do things that we do? So, here I have come to tell you how insanely strange we are.
Apart from the round pizza cut into near-triangles and then be delivered in square boxes, there are a lot of other things that I wish I found sense in.
1. Oxymorons: Opposite-meaning words clubbed together that are meant to mean something but if you really think, they mean nothing. You don't know what I meant? Let me help you.
“It was a bittersweet experience.” Bittersweet. It is supposed to mean that the experience was somewhat good as well as bad. A good and bad experience. Good and bad. Together.
Another one is “Act Naturally”. Ah, well. If I act, that isn't natural. If I am being what I am, which would be natural, that wouldn't be acting. Under any conditions whatsoever, I don't find any logic in using oxymorons.
The popularity of usage of oxymorons shows how so many people use them and mean nothing. But then, making no sense is kind-of common, as we will find in the next few points.
2. “Needless to say,...”. Why? Tell me. If it is needless to say, why would you say? And if it is needless to say, you might as well shut up and save your energy and both of our time, maybe? And if you think you have to state a fact, then it is not needless. Tell me more about the sense it makes.
I mean, of all the phrases you could start your sentence with, why this?
3. Words which sound like opposites but are synonyms, while words which sound the same have different meanings.
Flammable and inflammable sound like opposites, but mean the same thing. Same goes for ravel and unravel.
Also, while oversee would mean 'to supervise', overlook would mean 'to ignore'.
What I fail to understand is the logic of the person who had decided how the words are going to be used. Like, one day, he would have just got up and said, “okay, flammable and inflammable sound the opposite. Let's make them mean the same thing. And overlook and oversee sound the same thing. They are supposed to be opposites from now onwards.”
4. Shopping when there are sales. Shopping makes sense to me. Sales make sense, too. You know what I mean by a sale? Offers.
A huge part of marketing strategy, if not whole, works on your psychology. Sales are chalked out to make you buy things you might not even need. And they make a huge profit out of them.
So the next time you go out to buy clothes and you find a 50% off on shoes and then buy them, you know how this works.
Ask me what doesn't make sense. “Save [insert amount of money here] on buying two shirts. Get two more shirts free!” The offer does make sense. Given the fact that people actually get attracted to the offer proves that the offer serves its purpose. What doesn't make sense is the fact that the general masses do get into the sales and buy them.
5. Trying to please people who do not matter. If you do not relate with me on this, I don't know which rock you live under.
If you think about it, all of this is a complete waste of time and energy. Trying to do things just to please people isn't logical in the least, and it is still funny to see people trying to be a certain way instead of being who they are.
Well, that's the end of the ranting session for now. There might be a lot of other things that do not make a lot of sense. Let me know about your share of knowledge in the comment section below.
Keep Smiling!
